| Day 1 - Cape Town (B&B) |
|
| After a brief tour introduction and a last look at Table Mountain across the bay, we depart from Cape Town for the Stellenbosch Winelands where a bottle or two of the best South African wine can be bought. Overnight at a B & B. |

| Day 2 - Namaqualand [Camping BLD] |
|
| During July and August the Namaqualand is a splendor of wildflowers. The rest of the year the area is beautiful and unspoilt. |

| Day 3 - Augrabies (Gariep River) [Camping BLD] |
|
| The Gariep River is a quiet and peaceful river, the valley hardly touched by tourism. The riverbed is sandy and the water clear and clean. Irrigation farming produce mainly table grapes and citrus. The river creates an awesome spectacle, a green ribbon winding its way through the desert. We do another wine route an everyone will receive a bottle wine from the very grapes grown here. Camping at Khamkirri. |

| Day 4 - Augrabies (River rafting and National Park) [Camping BLD] |
|
| River rafting on canoes into the Augrabies National Park. Afternoon game drive in an open game vehicle. Free time for swimming and relaxing on Khamkirri's wooden deck on the banks of the river. |

|
|
|
| Day 5 - Fishriver Canyon [Camping BLD] |
|
| At dawn we leave for Namibia and head for the Canyon, the second largest gorge in Africa with a depth of 550m! The fittest among us can hike to the canyon floor. We set up camp at Canyon Roadhouse where a pleasant ambiance, swimming pool, gorgeous bar and clean ablution facilities awaits us. |

| Day 6 - Duwisib Castle [Camping BLD] |
|
| A visit at this castle is a visit back in time. This castle is one of the most spectacular historical structures in Namibia, and its builder, the fascinating Hansheinrich von Wolf, originally from Dresden and later Captain in the Imperial Colonial Forces in German South West Africa, have both long been the stuff of legends in Nambia. |

| Day 7 - Sossusvlei [Camping BLD] |
|
| We arrive at Sossusvlei in the late afternoon, set up camp and go off to explore the Sesriem Canyon. If there is water in the ravine, we can take a swim! An experience not to be missed. |
|

| Day 8 - Solitaire [Camping BLD] |
|
| Long before dawn we leave camp for the magnificent red dunes and the most breathtaking views you will ever experience. While the sun is rising, a splendour of colours will be coming alive before your eyes. For the fittest among us, dune climbing is a wonderful experience. Breakfast and lunch in the dunes. Then we depart for camp, pack our camping gear and leave for Solitaire. Another peaceful desert night with only the sound of geckos and perhaps a lonely jackall calling his mate. |

| Day 9 - Swakopmund [Lodging BLD] |
|
| After breakfast, we travel to Swakopmund via the Gaub Pass and the famous Kuiseb Canyon. We book at a B & B for two days. We have an excursion on the magnificent dunes of the Namib while quadbiking. Back in Swakopmund the night is yours to explore. Another day dawn with the opportunity to explore this quint German town with its beaches, markets, curios and many more. Dinner for our expense is at 8pm at Kukis Pub. |

| Day 10 - Cape Cross (Twyfelfontein) [Camping BLD] |
|
| We leave for the Cape Cross seal colony before heading inland to the Brandberg where we explore the rock engravings, burnt mountain and organ pipes. We camp at the Ugab River, home to the famous desert elephants. |
|
|
|
|
| Day 11 - 13 Etosha [Camping BLD] |
|
| Today we enter the Etosha National Park for an incredible wildlife experience. For the next 3 days we wil take game drives and camp where the biggest concentration of animals is situated. At all three camps, Namutoni, Okaukuejo and Halali you can take a swim in the swimming pools and from sunset to late in the night the group can watch animals drink at the floodlit waterholes. |

| Day 14 - Rundu [Camping BLD] |
|
| A place so unspoilt that you can experience nature the way it was created. It is nKwasi Lodge - nest of the Fish Eagle - tucked away amongst the lush riverine vegetation on the banks of the mighty Okavango River. Activities at nKwasi include canoeing, horse-back trails, traditional dances and sundowner cruises (own expense). The campsite is lawn covered with a beautiful view on the river. Facilities include clean ablutions, braai area, swimming pool and a bar. |

| Day 15 - Shakawe (Drotsky) [Camping BLD] |
|
| On the banks of the Okavango River lies this tranquil place, Drotsky's Cabins, with an ambience second to none. A wide variety of activities available (own expense). |

|
|
| Day 16 - 17 Tshodilo Hills [Camping BLD] |
|
| Tsodilo is one of Africa's premier rock art sites and a World Heritage Site. Over 4500 images have been painted at 400 sites, dated back to 850AD. There are 7 hiking trails varying in length and difficulty. Tsodilo's timeless cultural heritage is matched by its natural beauty. It is visited by leopard, vervet monkey, antbear, warthog, wilddog and elephant. There are many species of birds and insects and a diversity of flora including boababs, acacias, morula and mophane trees. |

| Day 18 - Kasane (Chobe) [Camping BLD] |
|
| We camp at Kasane on the Chobe River for 2 nights. The river flows along the northern border of the Chobe National Park. It is a stunning feature of Botswana and will be the focus of our stay. |
|
|
|
|
| Day 19 - Kasane (Chobe) [Camping BLD] |
|
| Early morning we head into the park on a game drive and the highlight of our stay will be a afternoon leisurely game viewing cruise on the Chobe. This cruise on the spacious river boat is a trip of 3½ hours into the Chobe Game Reserve (inclusive). The cruise is likely to reveal the ever present Fish Eagles, Kingfishers and a rich variety of Waterfowl along with the opportunity to see some of the more than 400 species of different birds that inhabit the floodplains and surrounding areas. You may have the exhilarating experience of seeing the river's ancient inhabitants like the hippopotamus and crocodile and be treated to the thrill of lots of elephants, waterbuck, kudu, herds of buffaloes and many more drinking at the waters edge. |

| Day 20 - Zambia (Victoria Falls) [Camping BLD] |
|
| We camp for 2 nights in Zambia near Livingstone on the banks of the Zambezi river. The Zambezi tumbles to a depth of 100 meters, creating a cloud of spray which can be seen 20 kilometers away. There are a wide range of activities, including white river rafting, elephant back rides, scenic flights and a 111meter bungi jump(own expense). Tour ends. |
